Michael B. Brehne Donates Masks To Sheriff's Office
In an act of community service and consideration for a friend and past colleague, former Orlando police officer Michael Brehne has donated 1,700 customized masks to uniformed members in the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).
Having served with Sheriff John Mina at the Orlando Police Department in the early 90s, Brehne left law enforcement to pursue his legal career. Since then, however, the two have maintained their friendship. Brehne reached out to Sheriff Mina to offer masks imprinted with the OSCO logo so that deputies may continue to serve their communities while being protected from COVID-19.
“Even with the availability of the coronavirus vaccine, it is important that front line workers such as the brave men and women who serve in law enforcement remain vigilant,” said Brehne.
