What is your position at the Law Offices of Michael B. Brehne, P.A. ?

Marketing Director

Could you describe one of your typical workdays? 

The wonderful thing about my typical workday is that there isn’t anything “typical”. Each day has it’s own set of challenges and rewards. 

What are your hobbies or pastimes when not at work?

Running, cycling, yoga, and spending time with my family. 

Name one thing on your bucket list.

It would be a shorter if I listed things NOT on my bucket list. However, the biggest one is to run all the majors. Chicago (check), NYC (training for), London, Berlin, Tokyo, and Boston.  

Do you have a personal “hero” or someone that inspires you? If yes, who and why?

I’m inspired every day by people I come into contact with. I love getting to know people and their stories. I think that is why I’m drawn to this type of work.  Knowing that we can help others and being inspired by them is a huge source of motivation and happiness.  

What is your favorite author or quote?

I love words, I’m a self proclaimed logophile, so it would be hard to choose just one.

What would you want to be your super human power?

Time travel wins hands down! Hello Roarin’ 20s and Fab Forties. I love fashion from yesteryear. 

What is your biggest fear?

Tornadoes, no idea why, but they frighten me terribly.  

If you were on an island and could only bring 3 things, what would you bring?

Cell phone (and pray I get coverage) even if I can’t call for help I would love to stay “plugged in”, fab floppy hat, and twirly straws for my coconut water.  

What is your favorite TV show, one that you never miss an episode?

Mad Men and I’ve missed the entire last season … shhh, don’t tell me what has happened, I will catch up! 

What piece of advice have you been given that resonates with you and you would share with others?

Glitter is always appropriate.
