Jess Pinero, Legal Assistant was nominated for our January Team Member of the Month, because of her willingness to always help with our clients and for providing support of our team regardless of the department the client and case belongs to. She always has a smile on her face and it comes across in her gung-ho attitude, extra care and concern for our clients, and friendliness. When she isn’t working she is a busy married mother of two and is actively working on her degree. We are lucky to have her in our office every day and wanted to share some insights about her, so you can see why we love working with her.

What is your favorite quote?

“It’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.” ~ Abraham Lincoln

I like to spend time with my children or I am doing school work.

Name one thing on your bucket list.

Travel to Venice, Italy.

Do you have a personal “hero” or someone that inspires you?

My personal hero is my mom because all through my childhood, she went through ups and downs and she still kept strong. She provided everything we needed and then some. Even when she was single mom she made sure me and my sisters stayed on the right path and always strived to achieve our goals, always putting herself second. As a mother now it is truly inspiring for me to be as strong as she is.

Mind-reading.

What is your biggest fear?

One of my biggest fears is sharks and spiders equally.

If you were on an island and you could only bring 3 things, what would you bring?

I would take with me a good book, paper, and body wash.

Name a TV Show you absolutely love and never missed an episode.

Gotham.

What piece of advice have you been given that resonates with you, which you would share with others?

The best advice given to me was, “You are never too old to make your dreams come true.” Which has become something I live by.
